Education: Showing an early interest, Joseph Alleman began painting at the age of fifteen under Utah Artist Harold Petersen and graduated in Fine Art from Utah State University.

Achievements:  Noted particularly for his work in watercolor, Joseph is well versed as a painter and enjoys working in a variety of mediums. His work has been featured in numerous publications such as; AMERICAN ARTIST WATERCOLOR, THE ARTISTS MAGAZINE, WATERCOLOR MAGIC, and SOUTHWEST ART Magazines. As a Working Artist, Joseph has received National awards and recognition from various professional art organizations including; the AMERICAN WATERCOLOR SOCIETY, the WESTERN FEDERATION OF WATERCOLOR SOCIETIES, and the UTAH WATERCOLOR SOCIETY. Joseph and his family currently reside in Northern Utah’s Cache Valley where he finds a great deal of inspiration in the surrounding land, its towns, and the people which make it unique.
