Background: Albert Louis Aublet was born in 18 January 1851 in Paris, France.
Achievements: Albert was trained in workshops Jacquand Claudius and Jean-Leon Gerome, he exhibited at the Salon in 1873 with success, including getting an honorable mention in 1879 and a medal of three e class 1880. International recognition is equally striking: he won several awards in international events, including a gold medal at the Universal Exhibitions of 1889. It is decorated with the Legion of Honour in 1890.
From his first voyage in 1881, the discovery of the East has a strong influence on his artistic inspiration. His visit to Istanbul gave a Orientalist direction in his paintings. The “Turkish baths Woman” was a great success and contributed to its reputation. He was president of the Society of Artists of Tunis .
